The Creepy Castle

This image was made by Fiqry Baharudin in a traditional darkroom photography class.  Throughout the year students experiment with alternative darkroom techniques to create interesting effects in their images.  Solarization is a darkroom technique where the image is exposed to light while it is in the developer chemical."I took this picture in Smithsonian. I was inspired to make an “old and creepy looking castle” in one of my photos.  I used the technique solarization to give the sense of creepy and it came out pretty good."    Fiqry Baharudin
